Detailed Description
The Tzoumerka Sightseeing tour is a deep dive into the most authentic and rugged part of Epirus. This is where history meets unruly nature, and stone architecture defies gravity. Our exploration starts at the Arachthos River valley, where we visit the iconic Plaka Bridge, a symbol of local history and engineering.
Moving further into the mountains, we reach the Kipina Monastery. Built in a cave on a vertical cliff, it remains one of the most impressive religious sites in Greece. We then explore the Kouiasa area, a lush green paradise with old watermills and natural pools ideal for a refreshing break. Throughout the 8-hour expedition, we traverse the stunning valley connecting Syrrako and Kalarrites—two villages famous for their silversmiths and stone mansions.
Our journey concludes in Pramanta, the most significant village of the region, situated under the towering Strogoula peak of the Tzoumerka mountain range. This private experience is fully customizable, allowing you to spend more time at the spots you love.
