Top Ηighlights

Rafting in the Kalarritikos River is the ultimate choice for those seeking a more technical and intense experience in the heart of Tzoumerka. As the most powerful tributary of Arachthos, this river originates from the high peaks of the Pindus range. It collects the crystal-clear waters of the springs from the wider area of Tzoumerka—specifically from the neck of Melissourgoi and the slopes of Kakarditsa to Peristeri—creating a high-energy alpine landscape of wild beauty.

The adventure begins at the Michalitsi Bridge. Under the guidance of our WRF-certified team, you will navigate through some of the most impressive and rugged scenery in Greece. This 4-hour descent requires teamwork and concentration, making it a favorite for experienced rafters.

The route reaches its climax as the Kalarritikos merges with the Arachthos River and leads you toward the iconic Plaka Bridge. Our base is located just meters from the exit point at Frasta, ensuring a seamless transition from the river to comfort. After the action, you can freshen up in our showers and changing rooms before enjoying our traditional treat of Epirote baklava.

*Note: This route is recommended for those with previous rafting experience or a high level of physical fitness.
