Top Ηighlights

The descent of the Arachthos (Trail 1) is not just an activity, but the ultimate encounter with the wild nature of Tzoumerka. It is the most beautiful rafting route in Greece, combining gentle adventure with the awe-inspiring landscape.

The experience begins at the Harokopi Bridge (Tsibovo), where the Alpine Zone team, with over 25 years of experience, will prepare you with full technical equipment and a detailed safety briefing. Upon entering the river, you immediately venture into the imposing Arachthos Gorge, a natural monument with vertical walls reaching 700 meters in height, offering breathtaking views.

Midway through the route, we will stop at the impressive mossy cave and the enchanting Klifki Waterfall. There, crystal-clear waters cascade from a height of 14 meters, creating a natural pool where the more adventurous can enjoy a refreshing swim.

The descent concludes in the most iconic way: passing under the historic Plaka Bridge, the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans. The route ends right next to our base in the Frasta area, where our facilities—complete with changing rooms, showers, and our traditional treat of Epirote baklava—await you.
